Golden Triangle Tour with Pushkar — 7 Days

6 Nights / 7 Days Delhi → Agra → Jaipur → Pushkar → Jaipur → Delhi Private AC vehicle English guide Free cancellation

Tour Overview

The classic Golden Triangle — Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — extended with a 2-day detour to Pushkar, the sacred lakeside town that’s home to India’s only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma and a famous camel-trading fair.

Pushkar sits about 3 hours west of Jaipur in a desert valley ringed by hills. The town centres on Pushkar Lake (a Hindu pilgrimage site), with 52 ghats lining the water and over 400 small temples in the lanes leading off it. The atmosphere is more reflective than Jaipur — spiritual, slower-paced, and rooted in Rajasthani folk tradition. A perfect counterpoint to the urban polish of Delhi, the Mughal weight of Agra, and the royal grandeur of Jaipur.

GT + Pushkar — FAQs

Why add Pushkar to the Golden Triangle?
Pushkar adds a spiritual and rural dimension the Golden Triangle alone doesn’t offer. After the polish of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, the slower pace of a holy lakeside town is a meaningful contrast — and it’s only 3 hours from Jaipur, so it adds depth without adding much travel time.
Is the Pushkar Camel Fair part of this tour?
The fair runs for ~10 days in November each year (timing varies by lunar calendar). If your dates align, we’ll include the fair grounds in Day 5. Tell us at enquiry.
Where do we stay in Pushkar?
Pushkar has wonderful heritage and boutique hotels — Inn Seventh Heaven (a converted haveli), Master Paradise, or the more upmarket Anantya Pushkar. We’ll match the property to your hotel category.
Is alcohol available in Pushkar?
No — Pushkar is a holy town and alcohol is prohibited within the municipal limits. Hotel restaurants may serve, but bars are not the norm. Plan accordingly.
Can we extend to Udaipur or Jodhpur from Pushkar?
Yes — Pushkar is a natural stepping stone deeper into Rajasthan. Common extensions are +2 nights to Jodhpur, +2 nights to Udaipur, or +1 to Bundi/Kota. Mention at enquiry.
