Golden Triangle Tour — 3 Nights / 4 Days
Tour Overview
India’s classic first journey, with room to breathe. Our Golden Triangle Tour over 3 nights and 4 days links the country’s three most captivating cities — the layered history of Delhi, the Mughal romance of Agra, and the royal colour of Jaipur — and gives the Pink City a full, unhurried day of its own.
You’ll see the headline wonders — the Taj Mahal at sunrise, mighty Agra Fort, the ancient Abhaneri Stepwell, the hilltop Amber Fort and Jaipur’s palaces — travelling in a private air-conditioned car with an expert English-speaking guide, and resting each night in a hotel of your chosen standard. The extra day over our 3-day tour turns a brisk highlights trip into a relaxed, properly-paced introduction to North India.
Want even more time or extra destinations? Compare our longer 5-day and 6-day Golden Triangle tours, or add Ranthambore, Varanasi or Kashmir.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Delhi sightseeing, then drive to Agra
Meet your guide and driver for a tour of Old and New Delhi: Jama Masjid and a rickshaw ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, the Lotus Temple and a serene Sikh temple, plus a drive past the Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament Street and the President’s House.
In the afternoon we drive to Agra along the Yamuna Expressway and check into your hotel to relax for the evening.
Taj Mahal at sunrise, Agra Fort & on to Jaipur
Begin early with the Taj Mahal at sunrise, watching the first light wash over the marble, then return to your hotel for breakfast. Check out and visit the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the option of lunch at a top Agra restaurant such as Pinch of Spice.
Drive towards Jaipur, stopping en route at the remarkable Abhaneri Stepwell, a masterpiece of ancient Indian architecture, before checking into your Jaipur hotel for the evening.
A full day in Jaipur, the Pink City
After breakfast, explore the hilltop Amber Fort with its grand courtyards, mirror work and sweeping views (optional elephant ride), followed by the elegant City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture, and the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory.
Enjoy photo stops at the lakeside Jal Mahal and the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), then spend the afternoon among Jaipur’s colourful bazaars — gemstone jewellery, textiles, pottery and handicrafts — before returning to your hotel.
Jaipur to Delhi — departure
After breakfast and check-out, enjoy a comfortable drive back to Delhi. Depending on your flight or train schedule, we drop you at the airport, railway station or your preferred location — concluding your Golden Triangle journey with memories to carry home.
