Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi
Tour Overview
India’s monumental heart and its spiritual soul, in one journey. Our Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi pairs the classic circuit of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with Varanasi — the holy city on the Ganges and one of the oldest continuously inhabited places on earth.
Over seven days you’ll explore historic Delhi, stand before the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, visit the abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri, and discover Jaipur’s hilltop forts and palaces. Then you fly east to Varanasi for the unforgettable Ganga Aarti, a sunrise boat ride along the ghats, the revered temples of the old city, and the Buddhist serenity of Sarnath. It is a tour that moves the heart as much as it fills the eye.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Delhi & sightseeing
Our driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel, where you meet your guide for a briefing. Explore the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar and the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb — a precursor to the Taj — then drive past India Gate and visit the serene Lotus Temple.
Delhi to Agra — Agra Fort & the Taj at sunset
After breakfast, drive to Agra (about 3–4 hours) and visit the mighty red-sandstone Agra Fort, residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638.
As the day closes, watch the Taj Mahal at sunset, the marble glowing in warm golden light — a magical first encounter with the monument.
Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, drive towards Jaipur, stopping to explore Fatehpur Sikri — the UNESCO-listed Mughal capital with its colossal Buland Darwaza, grand mosque and the columned Panch Mahal.
Continue to Jaipur, the “Pink City”, and check in to your hotel for the evening.
Jaipur sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the majestic hilltop Amber Fort, then the City Palace with its royal museums and the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar observatory.
In the evening, enjoy a Rajasthani cultural performance and dinner before returning to your hotel.
Fly to Varanasi & the Ganga Aarti
After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur airport for your flight to Varanasi. On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest before the evening’s highlight.
As night falls, witness the mesmerising Ganga Aarti on the ghats of the Ganges — priests performing age-old rituals with fire, incense and music, a deeply moving experience.
Varanasi — sunrise on the Ganges & the old city
Rise early for a serene sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, watching the city wake and the ghats fill with prayer and ritual. Then visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the powerful Kaal Bhairav Temple.
The rest of the day is yours to explore Varanasi’s labyrinth of lanes, markets and temples, or simply soak up the city’s timeless spirituality.
Sarnath & departure
This morning visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon — a tranquil pilgrimage site of temples, monasteries and the famous deer park.
After lunch, depending on your flight time, enjoy a little free time before we transfer you to Varanasi airport for your onward departure.
