Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) 

Welcome to Delhi: Our driver will  pick you up from Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM) 

Chandni Chowk: one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, historical significance, and diverse range of shops and eateries.  Built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan, the market was designed with a canal running through its center to reflect moonlight, hence the name “Chandni Chowk” (Moonlight Square). It’s surrounded by significant historical sites like the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and historical havelis (mansions).

Bazaars: Divided into various bazaars, each specializing in particular goods like textiles, jewelry, spices, electronics, and more. You  can find traditional Indian attire, intricately designed jewelry, spices, fabrics, and souvenirs.  It is known for its delicious street food, offering a variety of local dishes like chaat, parathas, jalebis, and kebabs. Its narrow lanes are bustling with activity, rickshaws, and pedestrians, giving a glimpse of Old Delhi’s cultural richness. Many buildings in Chandni Chowk showcase the architectural styles from the Mughal era. It’s often crowded, especially during peak hours, yet the liveliness and energy are part of its charm.

Evening (7:00 PM onwards)

Dinner: Relish dinner at a popular Delhi restaurant, savoring authentic North Indian cuisine.

Morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Visit Qutub Minar: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar  a five-tiered tower soaring to a height of 73 meters (240 feet) and built primarily using red sandstone and marble.

Construction began in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and was completed by his successors. The tower’s construction was part of the Qutub Complex, which includes various other structures and monuments.

India Gate offers excellent photo opportunities, especially during sunset and in the evening when it’s illuminated. You will find various street vendors offering snacks, ice creams, and souvenirs nearby.

Lotus Temple: Visit the Lotus Temple, an architectural marvel known for its stunning lotus-shaped structure and tranquil ambiance.It stands as a symbol of architectural brilliance, spiritual inclusivity, and global peace. Evening (7:00 PM onwards)

Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri: En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its historical landmarks. It has Buland Darwaza the colossal gateway, known as the “Gate of Magnificence,” is a monumental structure marking the entrance to the city. And Jama Masjid grand mosque is an architectural masterpiece adorned with stunning marble and sandstone decorations with Panch Mahal a  five-story palatial structure featuring an open pavilion with 176 intricately carved columns.

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant during the journey to Jaipur.

Arrival in Jaipur: Check-in at the hotel upon reaching Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’.

Drive to Pushkar (approximately 3-4 hours): Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Pushkar Lake: It  holds immense significance in Hindu mythology and is considered one of the holiest lakes in India. Hindus believe that the lake was formed by the tears of Lord Shiva when he wept for his wife, Sati. It’s a major pilgrimage site where devotees come to take a holy dip in its waters, believing it cleanses sins and brings salvation. The lake is surrounded by around 52 ghats where pilgrims perform rituals and prayers.

Pushkar Lake is said to be around 2,000 years old and is mentioned in ancient scriptures.

The lake is encircled by numerous temples, including the Brahma Temple, enhancing its religious importance.

Pushkar Ghats: Pushkar Ghats are the series of steps leading down to the sacred Pushkar Lake. They hold immense religious significance and serve as the focal point for various rituals and ceremonies. The ghats are an essential part of the pilgrimage to Pushkar, attracting devotees from across India. Pilgrims take dips in the waters of Pushkar Lake, believed to cleanse sins and bestow blessings. Various rituals, prayers, and offerings are performed on these ghats.

Places where devotees take ritual baths, including Brahma Ghat, Varaha Ghat, and Gau Ghat. Ghats like Brahma Ghat witness a multitude of ceremonies and rituals, especially during festivals. During this auspicious full moon festival, thousands of pilgrims gather at the ghats to take a holy bath.

Legend has it that Salim Singh ordered the haveli to be taller than the palace of the Maharaja, which led to its unique design.

Visit Bada Bagh: Bada Bagh, meaning “Big Garden,” is an ancient royal cenotaph complex that serves as a memorial to the rulers of Jaisalmer. Situated amidst the desert landscape, Bada Bagh offers a serene ambiance and panoramic views, especially during sunrise or sunset, making it a picturesque destination.

Kuldhara Village: Kuldhara Village is a hauntingly beautiful abandoned village located about 18 kilometers from Jaisalmer. Legend has it that the village was inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins who mysteriously abandoned it overnight in the 19th century, leaving behind a ghost town.

Kuldhara is known for its eerie yet fascinating atmosphere, with crumbling houses, narrow streets, and a sense of history that shrouds the deserted village. Local folklore suggests that the village is cursed, contributing to its desolate and enigmatic reputation.
