Welcome to Delhi: Our driver will  pick you up from Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Briefing and Orientation: Meet our guide for a briefing about the upcoming tour.

Visit Qutub Minar: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar  a five-tiered tower soaring to a height of 73 meters (240 feet) and built primarily using red sandstone and marble.

Construction began in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and was completed by his successors. The tower’s construction was part of the Qutub Complex, which includes various other structures and monuments.

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Evening (7:00 PM onwards)

Dinner: Enjoy dinner with a view of the Taj Mahal or at a recommended restaurant in Agra. Overnight stay in the City of Taj.

Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri: En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its historical landmarks. It has Buland Darwaza the colossal gateway, known as the “Gate of Magnificence,” is a monumental structure marking the entrance to the city. And Jama Masjid grand mosque is an architectural masterpiece adorned with stunning marble and sandstone decorations with Panch Mahal a  five-story palatial structure featuring an open pavilion with 176 intricately carved columns.

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant during the journey to Jaipur.

Arrival in Jaipur: Check-in at the hotel upon reaching Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’.

Pushkar Lake: It  holds immense significance in Hindu mythology and is considered one of the holiest lakes in India. Hindus believe that the lake was formed by the tears of Lord Shiva when he wept for his wife, Sati. It’s a major pilgrimage site where devotees come to take a holy dip in its waters, believing it cleanses sins and brings salvation. The lake is surrounded by around 52 ghats where pilgrims perform rituals and prayers.

Pushkar Lake is said to be around 2,000 years old and is mentioned in ancient scriptures.

The lake is encircled by numerous temples, including the Brahma Temple, enhancing its religious importance.

Pushkar Ghats: Pushkar Ghats are the series of steps leading down to the sacred Pushkar Lake. They hold immense religious significance and serve as the focal point for various rituals and ceremonies. The ghats are an essential part of the pilgrimage to Pushkar, attracting devotees from across India. Pilgrims take dips in the waters of Pushkar Lake, believed to cleanse sins and bestow blessings. Various rituals, prayers, and offerings are performed on these ghats.

Places where devotees take ritual baths, including Brahma Ghat, Varaha Ghat, and Gau Ghat. Ghats like Brahma Ghat witness a multitude of ceremonies and rituals, especially during festivals. During this auspicious full moon festival, thousands of pilgrims gather at the ghats to take a holy bath.

Pushkar Fair: The ghats become vibrant during the famous Pushkar Fair, with cultural events and activities taking place near the lake.

Savitri Temple: The Savitri Temple in Pushkar holds cultural and spiritual significance and offers panoramic views of the town and its surroundings. Situated atop Ratnagiri Hill, around 1.5 kilometers west of Pushkar town.It can be reached by trekking or via a ropeway/cable car ride. Dedicated to Goddess Savitri, the wife of Lord Brahma, this temple has mythological connections.

Legend has it that after Lord Brahma started a yagna (ritual), Savitri arrived late and got angry, leading to this separate temple dedicated to her.

The temple offers breathtaking views of Pushkar town, the sacred Pushkar Lake, and the surrounding desert landscape. Especially spectacular during sunrise and sunset, offering opportunity for photography and enchanting experience.

Camel Safari: Camel safaris take you through the sandy trails and dunes around Pushkar. Camels, known as the “ships of the desert,” provide a slow-paced and authentic journey. Often timed to coincide with sunrise or sunset for stunning views.

You can enjoy the vast desert landscapes and panoramic views. Encounter local villagers, witness their lifestyle, and learn about their traditions. Get a glimpse into the nomadic desert way of life, including music, dance, and traditional meals. 

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

Lunch: Enjoy the traditional Khajuraho cuisine in local restaurants.

Brahma Temple: It is an iconic and revered shrine dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator in Hindu mythology. It’s one of the very few temples in the world devoted to Lord Brahma.

Hindus believe that Lord Brahma performed a yagna (ritual) at Pushkar Lake, making it a sacred place, and the temple marks this significant event. The temple dates back to the 14th century, showcasing ancient Hindu architectural styles. The temple is built with marble and stone and features a distinct red pinnacle (shikhara) and a pillared hall adorned with carved pillars and silver coins.

The sanctum sanctorum houses the four-faced idol of Lord Brahma along with his consort Gayatri.  The temple priests conduct regular prayers, aarti (ceremonial worship with lamps), and pujas (offerings) throughout the day. You can offer flowers, fruits, and special prayers seeking blessings for prosperity and well-being. During festivals like Kartik Purnima, the temple witnesses an influx of devotees and hosts special ceremonies.
